A Breath and a Spark

Hello, friends!

I have a few more animated narrative figures to share this month. I learn a little bit more every time I build one of these, making everything a little bit better or a little bit faster. That’s a good thing, because I still have so, so many left to do.

Early on, I worried that I wouldn't be able to make these animations expressive enough, but I find now that the original art does most of that work for me. Audrey and Joan have been doing a great job on these. All I have to do is breathe in a little life and make them wiggle some. That seems to work just fine.

I finished 20 of these animations in October, completed implementation for the fourth-to-last story module, and did an overhaul of the crafting and trading systems as part of manor UI improvements.

For November, I'll be taking a moment to work on some travel events and vignettes before digging into the third-to-last story module. I also plan to make some improvements to the skill challenge system and working on edits to one of the earlier story modules.

That's all for this month! Happy belated Halloween! And happy Thanksgiving!
