A Few of My Favorite Things
Hello, friends!
Hope everyone had a warm and cheery holiday season. Maybe you’re shaking off a hangover this morning from New Years. I probably am too. I wouldn’t know right now, cause I’m writing to you from the past. But in any case, I hope you feel better soon. Or that you have a good day off. Or that you can at least find a reason to smile today.
We finished v0.28 in December, as planned. This included procedural map locations and dungeons, a few more skillsets, and data files for terrain, river, and region maps.
The last week or two of the year is a time of introspection for me. I tend to do a bit of strategic life planning then, which nowadays includes broad strokes for what to do with my business. This might include starting discussions with publishers at some point in 2019, but such a move wouldn’t strictly be necessary, and there isn’t much more I should say before announcing an actual deal somewhere, assuming that one ever actually happens. Consider this the most straightforward comment on the subject that you’re likely to get any time in the near future.
Not much more to share, since we’ve all been rolling around in a haze of pumpkin spice, eggnog, and cookies. But coming up for the big v0.3 major feature capstone, finishing at the end of February, will be region unlocking, cities, roads, sea travel, necromancers, and a bunch of new stuff in the manor interface.
Wishing you all a great 2019! Thanks for stopping by.
